President, McCann Worldgroup Latin America & Caribbean

As President of McCann Worldgroup Latin America & Caribbean, Fernando Fascioli leads a region that encompasses 27 offices in 21 countries. He has worked at McCann in the region for two decades, having served as CEO of two of its leading country agencies.

Fernando joined McCann in Uruguay in 1994 and then moved to McCann Peru in 1998. In Lima, he rose successively from Account Manager to Planning Director to Operations VP and then CEO in 2005. As CEO of McCann Worldgroup Peru, he led the start-up and local development of the Momentum, MRM//McCann and UM units. Under his leadership, McCann Peru rose to the No. 1 position in local rankings and was recognized by the Advertisers Association in 2010 as best-in-class with the “Excellence Award.”

From 2009 – 2011, in addition to his responsibilities in Peru, Fernando was appointed as the region’s Chief Growth Officer for McCann Worldgroup. In July 2011, he moved to Chile as CEO of McCann Worldgroup. Later in 2011, the agency was awarded "Game Changer-Best Agency Award" by McCann Worldgroup globally. He was named regional President for Latin America and the Caribbean at McCann Worldgroup in mid-2014.

Fernando’s brand experience includes supporting many local, regional and multinational clients, among them GM, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, SABMiller, Ripley, Reckitt, Yell, Colgate, Hilton, Santander, Adidas, MasterCard, BAT, DirecTV, and American Airlines.

Throughout his business career, Fernando has also kept a strong connection with the academic world as a part-time professor and guest speaker in UCUDAL (Universidad Catolica del Uruguay), Universidad del Pacífico (Peru) and PUCP (Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru). He has also served as Vice President of the Peruvian Advertising Agency Association (2006-2010), as a Board Member in 2009-2011 of the CONAR in Perú (National Auto Regulatory Council for Advertising), and as a Board Member of the Chilean Advertising Agencies Association since 2011. He has also served since 2003 on Effie Awards juries in Peru and Chile.
